Real Madrid vs Liverpool, 2018 Champions League Final: Match Preview, Injuries, Suspensions,Live Stream
Finally, the Champions League final will come. It's just a week since we've been through Real Madrid in the field, but it looks like an eternity. Real Madrid will face Liverpool on Saturday at the NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Kiev, Ukraine. Real will try for decimotercera, their third European title and 4 in 5 years. Meanwhile, Liverpool will seek the sixth Champions League trophy, the first since 2005.
Real Madrid finished the La Liga campaign in third place, not where they wanted to finish this season. However, they are back in the Champions League final and are trying at least to bring this trophy back to Madrid. Liverpool finished fourth in the Premier League, but this season has clearly shown its European domination to other English teams. Their trio of Mane, Firmino and Salah has been absolutely dominant and will be the central threat of Liverpool.
While Real had Cristiano with 15 goals in the Champions League, Liverpool certainly was not shy with Firmino and Salah who scored 10 each and Mane with 9 points. This may be one of the most interesting matches in the Champions League final in recent years and of course one of the most fearsome Real Madrid opponents.
Accidents / Suspensions
Both Carvajal and Ronaldo are back against Villarreal and are ready to start this game as well. All other members of the list are healthy and available at the disposal of Zidane.
On the side of Liverpool, Emre Can and James Milner are back from injury. He may seem out of the bench, but with the stated amount of Juventus he probably will not start with Jurgen Klopp. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who suffered a seasonal injury to Roma, and Joe Gomez are both out for the final.
